Welcome to The Danan Schufman Scholarship Fund a non-profit foundation established in 2006. The Fund rises from Danan’s love of great food, wine, and the wonderful friends it brought together. It honors his memory and celebrates his life by awarding scholarships to those seeking a professional career as Master Sommelier or in the Culinary Arts.
It is our hope that as the scholars pursue their dreams they will discover, as Danan did, the joy, love and laughter of the journey, and share it wholeheartedly with others.
Danan
Danan was born August 25th, 1978. Boulder, Colorado was his home and he spent all his life there.....The loss of Danan on June 3rd, 2006 was tragic for all of us, and his physical presence is missed everyday.
Mission
Our wish is to create a legacy of hope for unfulfilled dreams and untapped potentials; to reach out as we saw Danan do so often, and help. If our efforts can, in even the smallest measure....
